Abbott Diabetes Care recently issued a recall for certain affected lot numbers of FreeStyle Libre 3 and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors due to incorrectly low glucose readings. All healthcare facilities should check on-hand inventory. If you have the following product(s) with an affected lot number, remove and quarantine them immediately.

To check whether any of your sensors are affected, visit www.FreeStyleCheck.com and select “CONFIRM SENSOR SERIAL NUMBER.” In the event an item(s) is recalled, instructions will be provided to request replacement at no cost. If you do have any affected product on site, please make sure to remove and quarantine these packages apart from the rest of your sensors.
