Innovation Means Nothing Without Advocacy

Forum Extended Care Services Receives Innovation & Advocacy Award at MHA Connect
Recognition is meaningful—but only if it reflects the work behind it.
Forum Extended Care Services was recently honored with the Innovation & Advocacy Award at the 2026 Managed Healthcare Associates Connect Conference. It’s a moment we’re proud of—but more importantly, it reflects how we approach the work every day.
Innovation in healthcare is often framed as technology-first: faster systems, smarter tools, more data. But in long-term care, that’s only part of the story.
Forum is a leader in reducing waste and improving accuracy to make medications easier for LTC, utilizing multiple tools such as Lean Six Sigma, streamlined processes, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve success. But these tools should reduce friction—not create it. They should support clinical teams, not overwhelm them, and ultimately make care more consistent, more informed, and more human. That’s where advocacy comes in.
At Forum, innovation is always tied to impact—reducing administrative complexity and repetitive tasks so teams can focus on residents, improving workflow speed without sacrificing accuracy, and providing clearer insights that support better clinical decisions.
Just as important is advocating for how that technology is used. Responsible, thoughtful application matters. Because the goal isn’t just efficiency—it’s better care that is accessible, equitable, and sustainable for both providers and patients.
That balance—between innovation and advocacy—is where real progress happens. And it’s where we’ll continue to focus.
It’s also where we believe the future of long-term care is headed—and where Forum intends to lead with clarity, responsibility, and purpose.
